About me! Hi my name is Jessa owner/manager/instructor and first off, thank you so much! I have an incredible husband, 3 kiddos; Precious, Roland and Alastair and a terrific array of family and friends! My family and I moved to Tooele in 2007, my husband had family here previous to that and so we were very familiar with the area. We decided to move our then young family out here after seeing the close knit community and knowing so many wonderful people. Since then we have met so many more amazing people!
I have been doing yoga for many years, and have attended many classes and events. I absolutely love it! We asked ourselves how incredible this practice is, and how can we help bring more yoga into Tooele, and well, we made the decision to open a studio and thus Red Tree Yoga was created. I have my 200 hour yoga training through Yoga Assests and I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. I was blessed to have one of the most inspiring and brilliant yoga instructors, Denise Druce, to teach me this beautiful art. I promise to always continue my education and increase my knowledge in the art and practice of yoga and I am so grateful to continue my journey with all of you! ~Namaste
I have been practicing yoga for a little over 2 years and became certified instructor last December of 2016. Yoga helped me find peace within myself, calm anxiety and has helped heal my soul! My hope is to share that healing practice with as many as I can possibly reach! I have two amazing sweet little girls who daily help me learn to be a better human and an equally amazing husband who balances out my crazy! I love to paint and spend time anywhere there are trees, mountains and water! Isaiah 64:8
I began practicing yoga around 16 years ago. I was very overweight and only comfortable with a home practice. Several years later I began to focus more on my health after sacrificing my body to motherhood. Through healthy eating, exercising, and a renewed love for yoga I lost almost 100 pounds.
I’ve been teaching for the last 6 years, with a back ground in YogaFit, yoga for athletes and most recently completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. I’m passionate about sharing a love for self and self worth through yoga, always hoping my students leave knowing that they are enough just as they are.
I love being in nature. Hiking, camping, snowshoeing and climbing are also passions of mine that I enjoy both by myself and sharing with those I love.

The expansion of yoga, healing, love, and awareness is my goal. As a life long practitioner and instructor of yoga it is a great honor to spread consciousness of our mind, body, soul connection with all. I completed my yoga certification at Salt Lake Community College in 2009. Although for many years through my passion of teaching yoga to children, I have truly learned the most.
I began my journey into the world of yoga back in 2010 when I moved to New York. This is where I found my passion for Bikram Yoga. I have always loved fitness as it was a way to relieve the ay to day stress howeverI felt like I needed something more, something that made me feel at peace with the crazy world that surrounded me. After leaving New York, I took a small hiatus from yoga as my life became much more focused on furthering my career. Once again, I gelt like I needed something more. After doing some soul searching, I realized doing what you love is the most important thing a person can do. So in December of 2016, I graduated with my 200 hour yoga certification, and can now share the peace and love I have received from yoga.
